Description

This course explores the strategic and creative processes behind building compelling brand identities through graphic design. Students will examine the role of design in shaping brand perception, developing visual identity systems, and supporting marketing objectives. Through research, conceptual development, and hands-on projects, students will learn to create cohesive branding material including logos, typography, color palettes, and brand guidelines that communicate effectively across digital and print platforms. By the end of the course, students will be equipped to design and present professional-level branding solutions that align with real-world graphic design strategies to enhance marketing. Students in this course will be required to demonstrate advanced proficiency in both vector and raster-based software. Prerequisite: ARTS115
