Description
This course provides and introductory survey of social, economic, political, and intellectual changes in America from 1877 to the present. Students will examine how the definition of who can be a citizen changes over time and how citizens use their power to demand change and inclusion in both the political system and society. Students will also learn the basic skills of historical analysis and writing.
