Description
This course focuses on design from a problem-solving perspective while exploring the full production timeline. Students will be introduced to the fundamental concepts, principles, and techniques of motion design while becoming proficient in motion-based software. Key topics include planning and organizing through storyboards and animatics, applying kinetics and animation principles, and understanding sequencing, composition, visual variables, and narrative storytelling. Emphasis will be placed on the integration of time-based media, such as illustration, photography, video, audio, animation, and typography, to create compelling motion-driven messages.
