Description
This course includes a study of the unifying concepts of modern biology with emphasis on the chemistry of life, cell structure and reproduction, metabolic processes, genetics, ecology, and evolution. Students will engage in scientific studies involving observational and experimental data collection. Includes laboratory. This course fulfills the general biology course requirement needed by the following majors: Biology, Biomedical Chemistry, Exercise Science, Health Science, Nursing, and Physics.
