Description
This introductory course focuses on the craft of writing in the major literary genres: nonfiction, fiction, poetry, and drama. The primary goal for the course will be on how to generate new work that has depth and quality as well as developing and honing students’ abilities to read published works in order to recognize writing styles, techniques, artifices, structures and meaning while exploring the creative process of inspiration and presentation of self-authored work.
